The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering offers two integrated Masters (1st + 2nd cycle) in Industrial Engineering and Management and in Mechanical Engineering.
The Integrated Master in Industrial Engineering and Management, results of the adequacy to Bologna of the Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, which was offered until the academic year 2007/2008. This degree, previously called Degree in Production Industrial Engineering, is one of the oldest of the Faculty of Science and Technology, and was established in 1978. The Integrated Master in Mechanical Engineering, results from the adequacy to Bologna of the degree in Mechanical Engineering who was offered until the academic year 2007/2008. This degree was created from a branch of Industrial Production Engineering in 1986. Although the two integrated Masters were only first offered in the academic year 2008/2009, the two degrees that led to them, reached a consolidation and built a national reputation through more than half a thousand graduated students.
